Are you renovating, adding space, or building a new home in Portland, or any other town in Oregon, Washington, and California? Do you need someone to draw the necessary construction documents for permitting? I can help, residential building drafting is my passion. I'm an experienced architectural draftsman working remotely; I draw plans for the following types of projects:

Hablo Español in case you do. I have over 20 years drafing architectural plans and you can be certain that such experience will ease the way in getting your building plans approved for construction. Most of my projects are located in the greater Portland PDX Area, including Vancouver and Clark County Washington. 

I've also drafted plans for residential projects in Sacramento and Santa Barbara CA; and in towns located in the states of Maryland, Virginia, and Utah.

• Site Plans

To get your project started:

• Email hand-drawn sketches, building records, pictures of the existing home, as-built plans or whatever kind of information you might find necessary to share about your project. For sketch samples you can visit my Resources Page.
• Once I have those pieces of information I can work on a drafting estimate for pricing and turnaround. You'll have your estimate in no more than two days.
• In the event you approve the drafting estimate, you'll get a  preliminary floor plan emailed to you a few days after that. We'll work such floor plan back and forth a few times until you're satisfied with the result. At that point I'll collect a down payment (33% of the estimated total price) via PayPal. 
• Upon collecting down payment, I'll continue drafting the rest of the sheets (Site Plan, Exterior Elevation, Sections, and so forth). 
• To complete the whole set of building plans, communication among us via email is necessary.
• The whole plans drafting process takes about 2 to 4 weeks.
• Once your project plans are completely drawn, they're delivered to you via PayPal; that's when the final payment is collected and a warranty for changes up to 90 days kicks in. 
• With the project drawings in your possession, now you can either route such documents to third parties like Structural Engineers (in the even that one is needed) or, submit them to your building department for permitting. 
• Corrections requested by the SE, trades or building departments are provided to you at no extra cost as part of the warranty stated above.
• All my  plans are designed to meet state building codes.

Payment:

Down Payment and final payments are collected via PayPal and usually equal to 33% of the total price.
